The twenty-ninth ADIT Association Conference was successfully held in Krasnoyarsk Krai from May 30 to June 6, 2025.

The conference was held with the financial, organizational, and creative support of the Ministry of Culture of Krasnoyarsk Krai and our partners.

Background

The idea of ​​holding the ADIT conference in Krasnoyarsk arose over 10 years ago, when the educational program "New Museums for Siberia" was implemented in Krasnoyarsk Krai from 2010 to 2013, with the support of the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation. This program included over 10 project-based educational seminars and four internships for museum specialists from Krasnoyarsk Krai in Moscow, Berlin, Barcelona, ​​and Amsterdam.

The growth and development of the region's museums, on the one hand, and the territory's remoteness from major museum routes, on the other, created the preconditions for holding the conference. In 2022, the Minister of Culture of Krasnoyarsk Krai, A.V. Zinov supported the ADIT President's proposal to hold the conference in Krasnoyarsk.

The conference was attended by 233 in-person and 87 online participants (a total of 320). This is the largest number of participants in the history of ADIT conferences. Museum employees and companies supplying museum equipment and digital solutions from more than 60 cities and villages across 33 regions of Russia came to Krasnoyarsk. Among them were representatives of major federal museums (the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the State Hermitage Museum, and the Leo Tolstoy State Museum), as well as employees of regional and municipal museums specializing in local history, art, history and memorial museums, university museums, and private museums, as well as representatives of equipment manufacturers, and digital and multimedia solutions for cultural and educational organizations.

Two Days of ADIT Project Workshops

The project workshops, held on May 30 and 31, 2025, at the A.I. Kytmanov Yenisei Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve, brought together 37 museum staff from Krasnoyarsk, Yeniseisk, Moscow, Lesosibirsk, Shushenskoye, Minusinsk, Bolshaya Murta, Severo-Yeniseisk, Rybnoye, Dudinka, Khabarovsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Zheleznogorsk, and Podgorny. Participants discussed the "1418 Days to feat" exhibition and, working in project groups, developed four project proposals for networking between museums located both along the Yenisei River and in other regions.

Annual General Meeting of the ADIT Association

Holded on June 3, 2025. Members of the Association heard a report, elected new members, and resolved a number of organizational issues.

ADIT-2025 external Meetings

Two offsite meetings were held on June 5-6:

• To Yeniseisk, with a visit to the Yeniseisk Museum-Reserve
• To Shushenskoye and Minusinsk, with a visit to the Shushenskoye Museum-Reserve and the Minusinsk Regional Museum named after N.M. Martyanov.

During these trips, participants not only viewed the exhibits but also had the opportunity to share their impressions and exchange opinions with staff.
