Association "Automation directions in museums and information technologies" (ADIT)

ADIT-2009: Museum – an Unexplored Space of Communication. Cheboksary, June 15–19, 2009

Given the Government of the Chuvash Republic's focus on implementing information technology in cultural institutions, Cheboksary was chosen as the venue for ADIT-2009, where the conference was held from June 15 to 19, 2009. During the conference's plenary and section sessions, participants exchanged views on the most pressing issues, including the State Catalog of the Museum Collection of the Russian Federation; Museum multimedia exhibitions; and more. As per tradition, the conference also included a Computer Museum Festival and a club meeting for users of KAMIS museum system. A boat excursion along the Volga to the village of YURINO (MARI EL Republic) was organized, including a visit to the famous Sheremetev Castle and the Church of the Archangel Michael.
