Association "Automation directions in museums and information technologies" (ADIT)

ADIT-2011: Cultural Heritage and Information Technologies in the Post-Soviet Space. Minsk, May 11–14, 2011.

The Fifteenth Annual ADIT Conference was held outside the Russian Federation for the first time. Given the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus's focus on the integration of information technology into the country's cultural institutions, Minsk was chosen as the venue for ADIT-2011.

With the participation of leading Belarusian museums, the ADIT-2011 International Conference was held from May 11 to 14, 2011, in the capital of Belarus. Participants were treated to a series of one-hour lectures for beginners, "Ask the Experts." The conference topic, "Cultural Heritage and Information Technology in the Post-Soviet Space," generated widespread interest among both Russian and Belarusian specialists and was actively discussed in the plenary and breakout sessions.
